After all, without them, there could be no debates – networks would be expected to meet the Republicans’ demands, fearing that the candidates simply wouldn’t show up unless they were satisfied.

I just hope the next GOP debate has fewer candidates.

A spokesperson for the Trump campaign said that Trump has been negotiating with networks all along, but didn’t discuss the terms.

This year’s presidential debates have succeeded far beyond expectations – for the networks.

“I was going to quote Kanye but I can’t, because this is a family audience”, he said. I mean what he did was so stupid from his standpoint. But [the networks] are getting tremendous…

The Republican Party cut ties to NBC News after last week’s debate, which drew a record 14 million total viewers to CNBC, in protest of the moderators’ questions. The meeting followed the latest televised debate on October 28 on CNBC with which several candidates were unhappy.

“I don’t really care that much”. I think he can not make deals with Japan.

On Tuesday, Trump said of the debate: “I want a room”. “In my opinion, she’s the nominee – unless she gets indicted”, he added. “But I think John Harwood is not very good at what he does”, Trump said. Jeb Bush, once the presumptive frontrunner, has cut salaries and shed staff in a campaign now widely considered to be on life-support. If I lose, fine. “If a person has been campaigning for four or five months, and they are at zero, or a 1 or a 2%, they should get out”, he told reporters during a press conference at Trump Tower.
