And a massive public relations fight is already underway with conservative and liberal groups sparring over whether Garland should take former Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia’s seat. If Garland gets his hearing, it will be incredibly hard to argue that someone with his credentials is not qualified for the job, and he is likely to be confirmed.
