“Feel the Bern” is a slogan used by the Sanders campaign on signs, auto magnets, coffee mugs and other campaign tchotchkes.

But he also lowered the ceiling for what “high” means, warning observers not to expect President Obama’s unforgettable Iowa caucus night to be repeated this time around. Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders clearly differed on this particular issue.
SETTING: Sanders met with the United Steelworkers union Local 310L at 125 NE Broadway Ave.in Des Moines. It was a morale blow that still haunts Clinton as she trades the lead with Sanders in polls days before the Iowa vote on February 1.
The Democratic National Committee had said any candidates who participated in non-sanctioned debates would not be invited to the official six.
“We are touching a nerve with the American people who understand that establishment politics just aren’t bold enough”, Sanders said Monday. Trump said. Cruz quickly said he would face Trump “mano a mano” anytime. But the fireworks Tuesday were on the Republican side.
Mr Trump said he would hold his own event in Iowa during the debate to raise money for wounded veterans.
“To those who love her, it’s endearing”.
Mr Trump’s support stands at 41 per cent, according to the latest CNN/ORC poll. He said Mr Trump was scared of Ms Kelly, telling supporters that skipping the debate was like refusing a job interview. Well, I’ll tell you why: “because I’ve been on the front lines of change and progress since I was your age”. “You’re fired”, Cruz said, riffing on Trump’s famous rejoinder from the “The Apprentice”.
Obama has not formally endorsed in the Democratic race. What do you think the president and Sanders will discuss? “The two will meet privately in the Oval Office and there will be no formal agenda”. At a televised town hall forum Monday evening, she said she was “really touched and gratified” when she saw the interview – Obama’s strongest indication to date of his preference in the race.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has had a number of private meetings with Obama, including one in December that Earnest described as “mostly a social occasion”.
But the White House isn’t suggesting Obama and Sanders are kindred spirits, or even close political allies.
Obama broke his silence on the campaign to say of his former secretary of state that she was facing “unfair criticism”. Martin O’Malley polls at just 2%. Asked if the Iowa contest is a must-win, he responded: “That’s mythology”.
