The web series typically finds Seinfeld and select comics following the lead of the project’s title, zooming around in cool cars before nailing down caffeine fixes.

Usually Seinfeld only invites other comedians to join him on the show, but he said the president has delivered just enough amusing lines to qualify, reports CBS News correspondent Chip Reid. Arriving in a classic 1963 Corvette Stingray Split Window Coupe to pick up the President, Seinfeld munched on an apple in the Oval Office while Obama finished his work, reported E! online.

“It’s a Caddy, basically on a tank frame”, he says. The guys talk about the pitfalls of losing their anonymity, the dangers of power, life in the White House, and Obama’s favorite president, Teddy Roosevelt. And when Obama tries, he gets a more respectful, but still firm no. So they get into “The Beast”, President Obama’s presidential vehicle, and grab a coffee at the White House instead.

Seinfeld asks the president if he believes some world leaders are “completely out of their minds”. “Partly because I think my ears are big and I look a little like a cartoon character”.

“I thought: the coolest auto, American made, for the coolest guy ever to hold this office”, says Seinfeld. Obama deadpanned that he “call a nuclear submarine right from here”, then teased Seinfeld: “You don’t have that do you?”

There are jokes from the president, who refers to the comedy star as ‘a quazi-retired man of leisure, ‘ while the two exchange a few barbed remarks.

The show debuted in 2012, and has included a variety of comedians over the years, riding with Seinfeld and pursuing coffee and conversation as they ride.

Shortly before the conclusion of the episode, Obama asks: “Are we done?”

“Sounds pretty good to me”, Obama said. He says Roosevelt would take a monthlong trip to Yellowstone National Park without anyone knowing where he was.
