The Republican presidential nominee brought back the “Crooked Hillary” meme in a tweet where he called Clinton’s speech a “very average scream”.
“Donald Trump, you are asking Americans to trust you with our future”. While Clinton acknowledged the serious problems facing the country and the world, she appeared to be contrasting herself to Trump by stressing how unity can overcome those problems.

She talked about her drive to change the circumstances for people in this country, whether it is a family that is seeking a better life for their children, or a child with a disability hoping to receive the same education as other children. Another South Asian element in her speech was a tribute to Army Captain Humayun Khan, a 27-year-old Pakistani-American army man killed in 2004 in Iraq trying to save his soldiers from a vehicle bomb.
