Obama Stumps For Hillary In Philadelphia

In her first comments about her health condition since the dizzy spell, Clinton said in a phone interview on CNN late Monday that she pressed on with a busy campaign schedule because she didn’t think the pneumonia was “going to be that big a deal”. He defended Clinton’s record by noting she has released “decades worth of her tax returns”, even though GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump hasn’t released any.

Both Clinton and Trump have said they will disclose more health information in the coming days.

The health problem was the latest blow for the Democratic presidential nominee at a time when Republican rival Donald Trump has erased most of her lead in national opinion polls and is competitive again in many battleground states where the November 8 election is likely to be decided.

Her reputation for secrecy and lack of transparency, along with her limited exposure to the media except in highly controlled settings, goes back decades and gives fodder to the many conspiracy theorists who’ve been claiming Clinton is too ill to be president.

“I think her lifestyle and her underlying indicators-blood pressure, the amount of exercise, the everything else-means it’s nearly certain she’s in better health than her opponent”.

Meanwhile, her husband former US President Bill Clinton has dismissed mounting health rumours about his wife, saying she is “doing fine”.

“While my opponent slanders you as deplorable and irredeemable, I call you hard-working American patriots who love your country”, Trump said. “I think it’s time he met the same level of disclosure that I have for years”, Hillary said.

Clinton abruptly left the ceremony and appeared to stumble while she was waiting for her motorcade.

Hillary’s bottom line? She really didn’t think anyone would care that she had pneumonia!

The Clinton campaign said 6,000 people packed the rally in Philadelphia’s Eakins Oval, a park at the bottom of the steps to the Philadelphia Art Museum’s made famous by the movie Rocky.

Trump’s physician, Harold Bornstein, last month told NBC News that he wrote his glowing report about Trump’s health in less than five minutes.

After raising suspicions by leaving a 9/11 memorial service in New York City early on Sunday after becoming “overheated”, Hillary Clinton announced that she had been diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday.

“The President, as you have heard him say on many occasions, is confident that she will bring those same skills and that same endurance to the job as President”. Obama asked. “One candidate, who’s traveled to more countries than any secretary of state ever has, has more qualifications than pretty much anyone who’s ever run for this job; and the other, who isn’t fit in any way, shape or form to represent this country overseas and be its commander in chief”.

“Donald Trump and I have denounced David Duke repeatedly”, Pence said. Within hours, Clinton sought to dial back, though not retract, her statement.
