Biles responded to the president’s Tweet with her trademark enthusiasm.
Shortly after Biles entered, various athletes from the participating territories joined the celebration.
The 19-year-old – who won four gold medals and one bronze in Rio – was the first gymnast to carry the US flag since 1936. Biles won four gold medals in the women’s individual all-around event, team all-around, vault and floor exercise, and she won the bronze medal in the balance beam.
The queen of gymnastics Simone Biles stole the Rio 2016 Olympics spotlight in the eyes of many.
On Saturday, Biles acknowledged serving as flag bearer could prove challenging.

“One of my biggest worries is like, I’m afraid the flag is going to be too heavy for me because Michael Phelps is so much taller and he seemed to carry it so easily and I’m very short”, she added.
