“If we are not running scared until the day after the election, we are going to be making a grave mistake”, he said.

Golf game, afternoons at the beach and. political campaigning?

The president took a brief break during his Martha’s Vineyard vacation to attend a nearby fundraiser for Hillary Clinton, and according to ABC News, he said he’s really exhausted of having to talk about The Donald so much.

Obama was slated to headline a Democratic Party fund-raising dinner Monday evening on the island playground off the coast of MA, where he’s on a two-week family vacation.

Obama will deliver remarks, but the news media will not be permitted to hear his answers to questions asked by some of the donors in attendance.

The proceeds will benefit Clinton’s campaign, the Democratic National Committee and state parties across the country.

Clinton did not join Obama at the fundraiser.

“Frankly I’m exhausted of talking about her opponent”, Obama told 60 donors who had paid $10,000 to attend the fundraiser.

But nevertheless Obama has warned his party to maintain a sense of urgency until the election. He endorsed her right after the primaries and caucuses ended in June.

Servers wore white aprons that said, “Thank You, President Obama”.

The president said Trump’s recent criticism of Muslim parents who lost their United States soldier son in Iraq, as well as the candidate’s lack of “basic knowledge” about critical global issues ‘means that he’s woefully unprepared to do this job’. He’s expected to spend much of the fall stumping for Clinton. Earlier Monday, she made her first campaign appearance with Vice President Joe Biden in his hometown of Scranton, Pennsylvania, a state both she and Trump are competing to win.

He says there’s nothing more important than helping her become the next president. So far, he has indulged in seven rounds of golf, five dinner outings, two afternoons at the beach and a couple of trail walks.

It’s the president’s seventh summer vacation on Martha’s Vineyard, and the last one for the First Family as they prepare to move out of the White House in January 2017.
