Obama Warns Democrats Not to Take Election For Granted
On past Vineyard vacations, the president usually would follow a late night by ending the next day before sundown. “But if we do not do our jobs, then it’s still possible for her to lose”, Obama said. He told the donors he was exhausted of talking about Mrs Clinton’s rival.

“Frankly I’m exhausted of talking about her opponent”, Obama said at the event.
He’s warned 60 guests at the $US10,000-a-head fundraiser [NZ$13,837] at his private home on the island to not grow too confident about the Democrats prospects for the White House, despite Clinton’s strong position in the race.
“I don’t have to make the case against her opponent, because every time he talks he makes the case against his own candidacy”, Obama said.
Obama said Trump’s recent criticism of Muslim parents who lost their USA soldier son in Iraq and who publicly criticized Trump’s stance toward Muslims, plus the candidate’s lack of “basic knowledge” about critical issues in Europe, the Middle East and Asia “means that he’s woefully unprepared to do this job”.
Do you think Obama should comment on what is happening in Milwaukee or continue to work on his golf game? He’s expected to spend much of the fall stumping for Clinton.
The hosts of the fundraiser were Hank Goldberg and Carol Brown Goldberg, who contributed $33,400.
On Sunday, Obama joined up with Chris Paul of the Los Angeles Clippers for a round at the Farm Neck Golf Club.
The White House said Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson will visit the flood zone in Louisiana on Thursday to review the government’s response.
The details of the deliberations were revealed in hacked Democratic National Committee emails that were posted by Wikileaks, including some salty language from DNC staffers miffed at losing out on what they expected to be a high-yield event.
“He really won’t go up 20 minutes for $350k?” another staffer responded.
