Oculus has been working publicly on its Gear VR-flavored social platform since late October.

Through the purchase of Oculus Rift in 2004, he has established himself as a strong competitor in the field of VR development. Also, starting next week, it will roll out a Facebook Videos tab to personalize 360 video feed page, Oculus said in a blogpost.
Launching today for anyone who has a Samsung Gear VR, the new features will include a host of what Oculus describes as social games designed specifically to make the VR experience inclusive rather than isolating. And that’s why Facebook is investing so much early on in virtual reality.
Just like the Portal demo for the HTC Vive Pre, most of the content we’ve seen and the demos we’ve been presented seem to revolve around a solo experience.
Sony is holding an event on March 15, during the Game Developers Conference in the U.S. to reveal more information about PlayStation VR, possibly even revealing a price and a release date. On Oculus Social you can search for friends using their real name or Oculus username.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has stated his belief that VR will be the main social platform of the future, so the integration of these social features into the Samsung Gear VR is a logical step. Users will also be able to create VR chatrooms of sorts with Oculus Social where they can watch videos together from Vimeo or Twitch. Although only 33% of the total study knew about the new VR devices, 36% said they were interested in owning a VR device. You’ll then be able to easily kick back with friends to watch video or team up in new social games.
If you’re interested in something more action-oriented, you might want to try Herobound: Gladiators; this is a multiplayer adventure game with built-in voice chat, which pairs up to four players against goblins and demons in arena battles.
