Oculus Rift goes on sale on the high street
That’s right, Facebook’s Oculus Rift can be yours for the first time without having to import a model from the US.

However, if you are still on the fence, or don’t fancy waiting for shipping and delivery, you can now find the Oculus Rift headset available at United Kingdom retail stores.
The UK, French and German branches of online retailer Amazon are also stocking and shipping the headset, as are John Lewis, PCWorld, and GAME in the UK, FNAC in France, and MediaMarkt and Saturn in Germany.
Demo titles at launch include every thrill-seeker’s favorite: The Climb, the heartwarming, Emmy award-winning VR film: Henry, the exotic planetary experience: Farlands, and the flawless introduction to VR: Oculus Dreamdeck.
Each device will be bundled with a free copy of hit platform game Lucky Tale, along with hundreds of free 3D 360 videos and VR movies.
People in the United Kingdom can now try on the Oculus Rift, the most famous virtual reality system, in their own towns. There are now more than 100 full-featured VR games and experiences already available with more than 30 new titles scheduled to launch this year.
Following four years of Kickstarters. takeovers, previews and teases the VR headset that started it all has finally gone on sale in the United Kingdom today.
