The company hasn’t said when the headsets will actually start arriving, or how much they will cost. Oculus last week, however, delayed the release of its Touch controllers until the second half of 2016.
Unfortunately, neither blog post mentioned any information about the pricing of the headset, a vital piece of information that has failed to be revealed. The gadgets are created to work with the Rift and enable people to use hand gestures in all-digital environments.
Want the latest recommendations from Zacks Investment Research? And before we open Rift pre-orders to the world, we wanted to share one more special update with you, our Kickstarter community. And with VR headsets from HTC and Valve, Oculus, and Sony all hitting the market it shouldn’t be too long now before we get a reboot of 1992’s The Lawnmower Man. It is also confirmed that every unit of Oculus Rift will be shipped with a free copy of Lucky’s Tale, a made-for-VR platformer.
Oculus founder Palmer Luckey will field questions during a Reddit AMA set to begin at 6:00 pm on Wednesday (0200 GMT Thursday).

But the Rift will require a fairly powerful computer. The headset is being shipped to Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, United Kingdom and the United States.
