If you’ve been waiting for Oculus Rift pre-orders to open up, your wait may soon come to an end.
Though Oculus hasn’t announced how much the headset will cost yet, they have mentioned in recent months that a powerful PC will be necessary to run the headset. The VR developer announced that it has finalized its Oculus Rift SDK (Software Development Kit ) in version 1.0, and will be shipping the software to a handful of chosen developers.

It goes without saying that for Oculus rift games to work, you would first need to have the device tested for perfection, before having the games played by the users.
Developers planning a launch title that don’t yet have hardware can submit a preview of their app using the Oculus submission tool for consideration. The 1.0 release should signal to anyone who wants to develop for the Rift that now’s the time to get started. Whether the Rift matches up to the competition or not, it is certain that fans will receive a plethora of high quality games next year, as Oculus and PlayStation VR compete for VR gaming supremacy.
Oculus has only informed that the price would be greater than $350.
