Odin Sphere remake headed to PS4, PS3, and Vita
If you’re a fan of Vanillaware (Dragon’s Crown, Muramasa: The Demon Blade), then you may be excited to learn that the company’s PS2 action-RPG Odin Sphere is getting the remastered treatment.

Odin Sphere: Leifdrasir, as the remake has been titled, will offer more than a visual upgrade.
Western release has not been announced, but it hits Japan in January for PlayStation 3, PS4 and Vita, according to Siliconera. In addition to HD-fying the game, Odin Sphere: Leifdrasir will also feature a “Classic Mode”, new enemies, new maps, and changes to the game’s combat and alchemy systems. No word yet on a North American release but it is probable considering the game positive reception.

That’s not all, though. The publisher for Persona, Atlus and the developer for Dragon’s Crown in Vanillaware are saying they are working on an HD project but aren’t bringing many details beyond that. We know absolutely nothing about this project, not even genre or vague clues.
