Off-duty postal police worker shot by impersonators in NJ
An off-duty postal worker has been shot by possible police impersonators just before 4 a.m. Thursday.

News12 reported that an investigation into the matter is continuing.
Few details are known, but authorities said the victim’s injuries appear to be non-life threatening.
Police are searching for two armed men in a white crown Victoria.

It wasn’t clear if the officer was on his way to work at the time of the shooting.
Chief Assistant Prosecutor Thomas Fennelly confirmed Thursday that the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the shooting.

Police are looking for two suspects who shot an off-duty postal officer on Thursday. He was hospitalized and his accomplice is in custody.
