Officers rescue child left inside hot minivan at Hackensack Costco lot

Police in Hackensack, NJ smashed their way into a van to rescue a screaming child.

A Long Island man has angered some neighbors and faces big fines after deciding to park his Cessna in his driveway in a quiet residential neighborhood.

After landing in the hospital almost two weeks ago with a fractured bone in his neck, former President George H.W. Bush shared an enthusiastic glimpse of his recovery Thursday on his Twitter account.

She responded with a “sorry” when one of the officers asked if the kid was hers. “She could have died!” Officer Sonya Bekier climbed into the Toyota Sienna and scooped up the crying child. The officer estimated that the temperature inside the vehicle was 80 degrees.

Less than a minute after the officers started running the van’s license plates, the mother, Chaeyoung Lim-Kim, finally returned with another child – and a shopping cart stuffed with groceries.

Witnesses at the scene say how it was in the car- like an oven. “This time she got caught”.

The child’s mother is charged with child endangerment…

The toddler was treated and released at Hackensack University Medical Center and released into the custody of her father.
