Official says no injuries in attack on hotel near pyramids
Youm7 reports that all those on board the tourist bus were Palestinians (Arab-Israelis of “1948”) and that none were injured in the attack.

The source said there were no casualties in the incident, which took place in front of a hotel. No people appeared to be wounded in the attack, the employee said. For example, authorities have said they found no evidence that a terror bombing brought down a Russian passenger plane in the Sinai Peninsula last October.
The Interior Ministry said in a statement 15 people who had gathered on a side street near the hotel threw home-made fireworks in the direction of security forces stationed there.
Egypt, which has fought several wars with Israel, is one of only two Arab nations, along with Jordan, to have signed a peace treaty with the Jewish state.
Although there were no injuries reported, this latest attack appearing to target foreigners will likely be another blow to Egypt’s beleaguered tourism industry, particularly given the proximity to the Giza pyramids, one of the country’s main draws.
The Egyptian government has for years been battling an insurgency by Islamic militants in the northern part of the Sinai Peninsula. There have also been attacks in the mainland.

The shootings happened outside the four-star Barcelo Cairo Pyramids hotel in the Egyptian city.
