Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton said the United States needed to work with its allies to combat global terrorism and that the country should launch an “intelligence surge” to detect attacks before they are carried out.
As the investigation heated up, a bar owner in Linden, New Jersey, reported someone asleep in his doorway. Another official said that there was no clear suspect as of Sunday afternoon but that the investigation was in its very early stages.
