It appears that the show will go at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden, N.J., following a railing collapse that left dozens of fans injured during a Friday night (Aug. 5) concert from Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa.

The railing was separating a sloping lawn from a covered portion of the outdoor concert hall. Some fans fell 10 feet onto a concrete walkway below.

Security crew members began to help the injured and Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa were escorted away.

Colbridge said after the accident that some people simply ran from the pile, while others were limping and needed to be held up by their friends.

Most of the injuries were broken bones and bumps and bruises, county spokesman Dan Keashen said. The remaining eight were treated on-site by medics and released, he said.

Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa continue on The High Road tour tonight with a performance at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts. The collapse of the railing apparently was caused by a surge of fans moving forward to get a better view, according to a report in the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Camden County Police and city officials are still trying to figure out what caused the railing to break.

A records technician who answered the sheriff’s office phone Saturday said no one would be available to comment until Monday.

Camden City Spokesman Vince Basara says that city officials are working with BB&T Pavilion to address the issue. As people rushed toward the railing, it collapsed. Some Live Nation employees were among the injured, the company said.
