Oh Boy: Number of Emails With Classified Info on Clinton’s Private Server

The negative descriptions of Clinton come as she continues to weather criticism for her use of a personal email account while at the State Department. The billionaire investor will join Clinton on the campaign trail later this month. But there was one noticeable absence: Massachusetts Sen.

Clinton first mentioned the 9/11 attacks on NY to defend herself against Wall Street ties during the second Democratic debate. Bernie Sanders (who underwent hernia surgery today).

The emails have been part of the most noteworthy release still of Clinton documents from the State Department.

It was unclear what that figure referred to.

One email Clinton received on the night of September 12 contained information provided by former Central Intelligence Agency officer Tyler Drumheller. And her ties with so many familiar faces from those intersecting worlds were complicated by their lucrative financial largess and political support over the years – even during her State Department tenure – to her campaigns, her husband’s and to her family’s foundation.

However, there was at least one exception.

Although Clinton wasn’t on the ticket in 2012, she and her supporters followed the race closely – and had plenty to say. When critics say this is playing the gender card, she shoots back, “If fighting for women’s rights is playing the gender card, then deal me in!” Her spokeswoman declined comment on the Clinton event.

Republican presidential candidates have also criticized Clinton for the email, which was provided to the Benghazi committee prior to Clinton’s testimony. Clinton helped out in her own way, raising their collective profile and hitting the campaign trail for many of them.

North Dakota Sen. Heidi Heitkamp kicked off the evening noting that all of the female senators had signed a 2013 letter urging Clinton to make another run.

“I worked really hard to get more jobs for Americans, and that meant representing big business and small business and everything in between”, she said.

Clinton holds a solid lead over Sanders in Iowa after a summer of sliding poll numbers and campaign fumbles.

She is also scheduled to be in Orlando on Wednesday for what her campaign describes as a “grassroots organizing event”.

On the Democratic side, Sanders polled better in terms of inspiring more people to vote for the Democratic ticket. Barbara Boxer told MSNBC’s Steve Kornacki Monday afternoon. Examples: You can’t have securely funded national infrastructure programs without increasing the gas tax for the first time since 1993; and one way to shore up Social Security’s trust fund would be to raise the maximum amount of taxable earnings from the current level of $118,500.
