According to the report, the Russian man, Igor Vorozhbitsyn, went for fishing at the country’s Yakutia Republic, when the animal attacked on him.
But fortunately he had his mobile in which Justin Bieber’s song was set as ringtone and when the bear was-to-attack, the ringtone started ringing, which filled bear with fear.
And hence the bear ran away and the man left alive without any heavy injuries.
In a talk, Mr. Igor said “I know that sort of ringtone isn’t to everybody’s taste but my granddaughter loaded it on to my phone for a joke”.
A wildlife expert later commented that it would potentially have been the sudden noise – rather than Bieber himself – that forced the bear to retreat.
