Ohh a Civil War II

The original “Civil War” was written by Mark Millar and illustrated by Steve NcNiven.

“Captain America: Civil War” is under the tutelage of Anthony and Joe Russo.

While all of that is correct, there is a lot that people are getting wrong about Civil War, and expectations may need to be adjusted accordingly.

CBR rightly notes that New York Comic Con is coming up fast, and since Secret Wars was officially announced during the show past year, it might be the place where we get confirmation of what lies ahead.

It looks like Marvel Comics may be teasing a sequel to one of its biggest event comics ever, Civil War.

Civil War 2 has always been something fans have been asking for.

Chances are, this might have to do a lot with how the series of comics was received by critics and a few fans. The Secret Wars: Civil War miniseries actually did a pretty great job with that, imagining a world where the conflict dragged on into increasingly grander and catastrophic scales, dividing America into two dystopic factions. Feige added that a non-cap character will also have center stage during the film such as Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robbert Downey Jr.), Bucky Barnes/Winter Solider (Sebastian Stan), Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie) etc. Although he did not answer the question, a few Evans’ co-stars, Stan and Mackie, have already hinted that they could take on the mantle of Captain America anytime in future projects.

For those who are unaware, Sam Wilson is the Falcon in both the comics and movies. But what would make the heroes line up against each other again?

We’ll definitely find out in 2016 should Marvel make an official announcement.

A while back during a reddit AMA, UFC Bantamweight Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey revealed that she was interested in playing Carol Danvers in the upcoming Captain Marvel film.
