Ohio AG: Aborted fetuses from Planned Parenthood sent to landfills

Attorney General Mike DeWine said in a statement on Friday that his office concluded its investigation of Planned Parenthood and found that the organization had not illegally sold fetal tissue.

These disposals violate Ohio Administrative Code 3701-47-05 which requires that a “fetus shall be disposed of in a humane manner”.

Aborted fetuses from Planned Parenthood clinics in OH are ending up being disposed of in landfills, according to an investigation from the state’s attorney general (AG).

Planned Parenthood has received added scrutiny since anti-abortion activists released undercover videos last summer they say shows Planned Parenthood personnel negotiating the sale of fetal organs. So DeWine is filing an injunction….not against the vendors…but with the three Planned Parenthood clinics themselves. The study didn’t prove that but did find that some locations in Bedford Heights, Cincinnati and Columbus were all using waste companies that were putting the fetuses in nearby landfills.

“We learned that aborted fetuses are ultimately disposed of in landfill sites – apparently intermingled with other common residential and commercial trash”, DeWine wrote in a letter to Ohio Department of Health Director Richard Hodges. A Planned Parenthood state leader has said no donation program exists here, in accordance with the law. Ohio Gov. John Kasich, who is running for president in the 2016 Republican primary, released a statement Friday about DeWine’s new findings on Ohio Planned Parenthood clinics.

According to Kight, the clinics “comply with all the laws that require safe fetal disposal”, and in answer to whether there was disposal in a landfill, replied: “I would suggest you ask the companies doing that…. It is a grotesque portrait of their urgent need to dispose of their victims along with the truth”.

Planned Parenthood of Ohio President Stephanie Kight, called the allegation “flat-out false”.

Ohio Right to Life’s Katie Franklin applauds DeWine’s actions. He indicated the pro-life organization is now working with Representative Robert McColley (R-Napoleon), Representative Kyle Koehler (R-Springfield), and Senator Joe Uecker (R-Miami Township) to introduce such legislation.

Updated information on the case confirmed that planned Parenthood is one of the three abortion businesses and that it faces the largest fine. But then, if they didn’t have any respect for these preborn babies before they ripped them apart, why would they have respect for them afterwards?
