After 62 days of declining gas prices, a surge in oil costs has pushed retailers to up the price per gallon by an average of 3 cents in Florida.

Gas prices in CT are more than 50 cents cheaper per gallon than this time year last year and roughly 15 cents lower than last month.
The price of regular unleaded gasoline in Bradenton-Sarasota jumped by an average of about 4 cents in the past week, according to AAA. Still, the average price was about 10 cents lower than a month ago and nearly 40 cents lower than it was a year ago.
AAA Michigan surveys daily fuel prices at 2,800 gas stations across the state. It stands 55.1 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.

The national average price on Monday remained unchanged from a week ago, at $2.12, but was down 10 cents from a month ago.
