The proposal targets grants Planned Parenthood receives through the state’s health department.

The executive director of Ohio Right to Life praised the bill’s passage and its sponsors.

But Stephanie Kight, chief executive of Planned Parenthood of Greater OH, said legislators who support the bill are disregarding the well-being of Ohioans. The organization has said it has no fetal tissue donation program in OH, where such donations are illegal.
