Ohio State Buckeyes Attend The ESPY Awards

I mean, Braxton was a very important part of the team the two years before last year, and this team wouldn’t be where we are without his leadership. This instant availability paired with the fact that Miller will have to earn back his starting spot on an Ohio State team loaded with qualified QBs made fans worry that a transfer might be imminent.

Miller called the reports of schools recruiting him “just rumors”. Because Miller not only had no intention of leaving, but already plans on sending his son to Ohio State.

Miller would have likely transferred months ago if he desired a guaranteed starting position somewhere else; making the announcement that he was staying a bit of a formality.

It was those outside the program who figured Miller would test college football’s free-agent market this offseason rather than return to Ohio State, where the rise of Barrett and Jones seemed to make the program’s once-indispensable star an unnecessary luxury.

Miller said the shoulder is healed, although he doesn’t yet have full range of motion. “So I’m a Buckeye and that’s it”. He ended his college career with more national titles (four) than losses (three). In his Dispatch interview Miller commented, “God put me on this Earth…to be an athlete, and the first thing in my mind is being a quarterback”.

Jones was up for best breakthrough player of the year.

The conjecture of who should start in 2015 began as soon as the Buckeyes finished their historic championship season. Cardale later tweeted a picture with her, congratulating Davis on her award.

Cardale Jones, Ezekiel Elliot, Braxton Miller, and Joshua Perry will represent the Buckeyes along with Coach Urban Meyer. Whether you want to use the “c-word” or not, what happens in Columbus during the first half of August will be the most interesting and watched “c-words” in all of college football. And given all the scrutiny around the upcoming quarterback battle, it’s equally tempting to try to decipher what it might mean for the Buckeyes now that he’s just about completely healthy and ready to contribute in pads once again.

The solution is sitting right there in front of Meyer.

“He has always loved Ohio State“, Meyer said.
