Keeping plays in front of them and preventing any big gains from breaking will help Oklahoma stay in this game and be around until the end.

While this game may not look as intriguing on paper now as it would have with these original rankings, this is still a matchup between two of college football’s best programs, and an important game for both teams.

If Ohio State needed any more motivation, Kendall’s words have provided another rallying point. And let’s just say Kendall didn’t give much respect to Ohio State’s defense. The Buckeyes opened the season with Bowling Green and Tulsa. Mayfield is one of the best distributors of the ball in the country and that ability mixed with his athleticism make him a very risky dual-threat passer.

Urban Meyer won’t have to make up any bulletin board motivational stuff this week for Saturday’s nationally televised showdown between No. 3 Ohio State and No. 14 Oklahoma in Norman.
