Ohio State dismisses RB Bri’onte Dunn
Dunn, who served as depth chart fodder for the Buckeyes the last few seasons, was in the middle of a battle with Mike Weber and Curtis Samuel for the starting spot this year.

The Buckeyes are entering a transition season at running back after the Dallas Cowboys drafted Ezekiel Elliott fourth overall in April.
Head coach Urban Meyer issued a statement announcing Dunn was dismissed “for a violation of team rules”, per Matt Hladik of College Spun.
Even though Dunn’s absence will leave Ohio State thinner at running back, finding yardage shouldn’t be a problem.
“Bri’onte Dunn has been dismissed from the Ohio State football program for a violation of team rules”, Meyer said on Monday.
At GlenOak, Dunn ran for 5,479 yards and was a first-team all-state player as a junior and senior. He redshirted in 2013 and played just eight games on the national championship team in 2014, where he was handed the ball nine times for a total of 63 yards.
Dunn has already graduated from Ohio State, so he could potentially land with another program this season with immediate eligibility.
