OIC reassures support to people’s right to self-determination
Media reports from Pakistan confirm this, as Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is expected to forcefully bring up Kashmir at the upcoming session of UN General Assembly in NY next month. “We condemn Narendra Modi’s statement on Balochistan”.

“It is the violation of the UN Charter… On the other side, killing of innocents by terrorists are celebrated by a government inspired by terrorism”, said Modi who sported a red, pink and yellow turban.
This approach to India, Swarup said, was reflected in support for terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir that continued to the present day. From 1999 onwards, when the Lahore declaration was signed between Prime Ministers Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Nawaz Sharif, the invoking of the UN Security Council resolutions has been used sparingly, that too in rhetoric.
ISLAMABAD: Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary General Iyad Ameen Madani on Saturday voiced serious concern over the ongoing gross human rights violations and unabated carnage in the Indian occupied Kashmir and renewed pledge to resolve the issue through peaceful means.
She also raised the issue during meetings with the United Nations leadership as well as with the President of the Security Council last month.
India has also said the foreign secretary-level talks would focus on the “earliest possible vacation of Pakistan’s illegal occupation of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir”. “The brutal use of force has killed at least 80 people and at least 100 have been blinded by use of pellet guns”, he alleged.
Karima Baloch, who is the chairperson of Baloch Students Organisation fighting against atrocities in Balochistan, has on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan called Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi her brother and urged him to be the voice of Baloch genocide, war crimes and human rights violation at global forums.
Pakistan invited India to discuss Kashmir. However, he refused to confirm if India had responded to the proposal.
Zakaria also claimed that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was aimed at economic development of not only Pakistan and China but the entire region.

Taking on Pakistan for “encouraging” radicalism and not containing terror groups operating from its soil, Karzai yesterday said India is not engaged in any proxy war in Afghanistan and has been sincerely carrying out reconstruction work there.
