Pakistan and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) have agreed that under the umbrella of the 57-member Islamic bloc, they must build an effective counter-narrative against extremism and terrorism.

Such a posture on the part of influential capitals only emboldens the oppressors to trample on human rights values and continue their killing spree.
More than 70,000 people have reportedly been killed in the conflict so far, majority in Indian Armed force’s counter insurgency operations.
Jaishankar, while expressing willingness to travel to Islamabad to discuss cross-border terrorism, had maintained that Pakistan has no locus standi in addressing any aspect of the situation in J&K, which is an internal matter of India, except to put an end to cross-border terrorism and infiltration. But a grave disservice is done to the courageous Kashmiri people when the problem is framed as one that exists only between India and Pakistan. And this isn’t just India’s view. We wish all other regions in Pakistan very very well.
