Babatunde Okungbowa aka OJB Jezreel is reported to have passed on the early hours of Tuesday, June 14, 2016.

He sent out a broadcast message and said: “Hi my name is Babatunde okungbowa a.k.a OJB Jezreel”. His body has been deposited in a morgue at Isolo General Hospital.
OJB died nearly three years after a successful kidney transplant surgery in India.
In 2015, he had a kidney ailment for which he eventually received treatment after a much publicized fundraising by friends and colleagues led by Nomoreloss (who himself passed away 3 months ago). October 21 of the same year, the singer successfully underwent the surgery at the Indian hospital.
A family source claim that his kidney transplant failed completely since last week.
The deceased survived by three wives, Mabel, June, Korede and eight children.
Recall that the producer was down with kidney related disease, and consequently was flown to India for a transplant in 2013.

When OJB was diagnosed of kidney failure in 2013, Mama J rescued him by donating one of her kidneys to save his life.
