OK, now we’re really confused about the story of Halo 5: Guardians

Although Microsoft is keeping specifics under wraps, the company now says the story events set into motion in Halo 5: Guardians will forever change the overall universe in “really important ways”.
Previously, a commercial released for game’s fifth installment indicated that Master Chief was dead in “Halo 5”, but now, it appears such is not exactly the case. The start of the trailer could be seen as a continuation, but on a different perspective of the first TV trailer entitled “A Hero Falls” which shows the announcement of the death of The Master Chief who was then acknowledged as an excellent soldier.
Halo 5: Guardians is exclusive to Xbox One and arrives in stores on October 27th, or about three-and-a-half weeks from now. It seems that such an announcement has been given a “pre-emptive strike” of sorts through certain cheeky parties, who have leaked out the trailer online for all and sundry to watch this 90 second clip on what is to come.

The new video completely abolishes the previous rumor of Master Chief Dead and it clearly shows that it was a cover-up for OMI. Fireteam Osiris, meanwhile, led by Spartan Locke, are sent out to hunt Master Chief down. That’s all set to change with Halo 5. The story campaign will take players into an immersive and complex experience and the story itself is good enough to engage gamers for a few hours. As previously reported, many fans eagerly wait for the game, especially with its promise of not only being the best in the “Halo” franchise but also having a bigger and more improved gameplay than its predecessors. “One of the big creative goals that we had for Halo 5 was to bring that into focus and support it through the story”.
