Freshman running back Chris Warren (ankle) hasn’t played since the Cal game because of an ankle injury, while freshman linebacker Breckyn Hager is still working his way back from a high ankle sprain he suffered against the Horned Frogs. Sports don’t give us moments sweeter than that. “You have to play with a tenacity and a mentality that’s unmatched”.

Six games in six weeks against five top-25 opponents was quite a gauntlet for the Texas Longhorns, and the team heads into its bye week before playing the Kansas State Wildcats trying to get healthy. I have a feeling the teams that caught them early in the year are going to be lucky they did because it looks like this team might have things figured out. So I think that’s young people. Texas is a school full of politics, with a little football mixed in, while Strong is zero politics and 100 percent football. We went through two years ago, the Texas game….
Stoops said players have to execute the game plan, and OU didn’t do that against Texas. But for at least one more game Howard deserves that chance to redeem himself.
This coming Saturday’s matchup in Ann Arbor between undefeated Michigan State and Michigan is not to be missed.
