Olly Murs Made a Huge Error While Hosting ‘The X Factor’

Contestants Monica Michaels and Anton Stephans were facing deadlock when presenter Olly mistakenly announced that Monica was going home before the result had been handed to him and Caroline Flack.

She added: “I felt so uncomfortable doing that”.

Taking to twitter Murs apologised, writing: ‘I apologise to everyone tonight I made a massive f%#k up at the end. It was so tense!!

Philip Schofield said: “Anyone who’s been on telly, we’ve all messed up at one stage or another so I hope he doesn’t worry too much about it, because it’s done and gone, and then everybody moves on”. Another said: “Olly murs is surely getting sacked for that slip up, absolute school boy”.

Monica Michael failed to apologise for her insensitive shooting comment in her first TV interview after being eliminated from The X Factor.

He will be performing a rendition of his new single – titled Kiss Me – in front of his fellow co-host Caroline Flack and the four judges.

“But it did automatically make me the weakest contender”.

It was criticised due to sound issues in that the judges could not always hear what they were being asked by the presenters.

Monica Michael has responded to rumours that The X Factor results are “fixed”. X Factor fans saw Louisa sport both trainers and black lace-up shoes during the VT clip, but producers explained it away saying they merged footage from a performance with a backing track with the acoustic one they aired.

“Sorry, I got that wrong”, he immediately replied, “Sorry, I apologise for that, Monica, I do apologise”.

Her rendition of Veronika Bozeman’s What Is Love was praised by the judges.

After weeks of singing dreary ballads (admittedly, still very well) back in series seven, Becs chose to show us what she was really made of with this uptempo number, and we liked it. We liked it a lot.

The controversial singer – who was a wildcard for this year’s competition – was kicked off the show after a lacklustre sing off against Anton Stephans.

The public vote was ultimately used to determine who would be the sixth act to leave. Happens to us all.

“And most importantly, stay safe”.

Murs tweeted an apology for his slip-up. Beating myself up about it mate!

But his mistake led a few to accuse the show of being a fix.
