Olympic network NBC vows full Rio coverage, woes included

After a busy slate of men’s gymnastics on Day 1 of the Rio Olympics, the much-anticipated women’s competition gets underway on Sunday morning. We’ll tell you what time they are competing, what channel you can see it on, and we’ll even give you links to the live stream of the event.

NBC has paid billions for the exclusive rights to carry the Olympic Games live through 2032 and, although ESPN covers sports as a news outlet, restrictions are placed on its use of highlights. Also, NBC Sports Group is partnering with Buzzfeed to provide games coverage over the new Olympics Discover channel on Snapchat, set to launch on or around August 5. In addition to their Olympic relationship, Yahoo and NBC Sports are now in the fourth year of a digital sports alliance that widens NBCs distribution.
