Serbia and Aremenia took the final two Greco-Roman wrestling gold medals at the 2016 Rio Olympics. He is the top ranked wrestler in the world at 66 kg, and won last year’s World Wrestling Championships.

In a battle of past world champions, Rasul Chunayev of Azerbaijan picked up an 8-0 technical fall over Ryu Hansu from South Korea for the bronze while world No.10 Shmagi Bolkvadze of Georgia, a 2014 junior world champion, bagged another bronze with a 1-0 win. He made it to the repechage round, where he could at least win bronze, but got stifled by Tomohiro Inoue.

After Islam-Beka Albiev suffered an early loss in the 66 kg tournament, Islam Magomedov represented Russia’s only hope of winning a wrestling medal for a third straight day.
