Oman police say 18 killed, 14 injured in bus crash
The Royal Oman Police made the announcement in a tweet Tuesday morning.

Fourteen people were also injured in the pre-dawn accident on the road between Ibri and Fahud, ONA said citing police. Fahud and Ibri are cities west of the capital, Muscat.
Some of those who survived have serious injuries. A bus and truck collision in Oman killed 18 people, including foreigners. The ROP is working to identify the nationalities of others with the help of hospital authorities and the bus operator. The injured include ten Omanis, two Saudis, one Pakistani and a Chinese national.
Traffic crashes are not uncommon in the Gulf states.
