On Android? Like running? Spotify just got better for you
At launch, however, it was only available on iPhone, but it has now arrived on Android, too. Spotify Running at its core is a way to pump you up as you run.

Spotify’s Running mode, previously exclusive to its iOS app, has now turned up on Android phones.
The software allows users to pick from a variety of pre-designed playlists, including Recommended, Upbeat, Indie Kick, and Mood Booster. The company revealed today that since it was launched millions of subscribers have laced up and hit the road with Spotify Running.
To use the new feature all you need to do is select your temp and start running.
The new feature tunes your music to your current running tempo, based on your listening history, multiple-genre playlists as well as original compositions from DJs and composers to help keep your motivation levels up as you’re out pounding the pavement.
“We’ll match the perfect music in time to your step to help you go the extra mile”, Spotify wrote.
Spotify Running was unveiled alongside “shows”, the recently added Spotify portal where the users can listen to podcasts and watch video clips.

Spotify users with Android devices that are looking to try the feature out will have to update the app in their smartphones, with the update accessible through the Google Play Store.
