Once Upon a Time Season 5: Jamie Chung Returning as Mulan
Mulan (Jamie Chung) has been missing for a while and fans will be happy to know that she has been confirmed as the show’s latest returning cast member, following news of Meghan Ory’s return to the cast as Red. Mulan left to join Robin Hood’s (Sean Maguire) band of Merry Men after learning the love of her life, Princess Aurora (Sarah Bolger), was pregnant by Prince Philip (Julian Morris).

Upon leaving the series, Chung made sure she is not closing her doors in returning.
Aside from the anticipated Mulan-Aurora reunion, TVOvermind suggests that Mulan’s return in “Once Upon a Time” Season 5 could provide some flashback scenes on what happened during her journey with Robin Hood and the Merry Men.
Meanwhile, Design & Trend reported that Horowitz, along with co-creator Eddy Kitsis, revealed some hints about the Season 5 storylines, most especially about the new characters in the show.
There are probably still some Once Upon a Time fans out there who are confused about Mulan’s sexuality, but Jamie Chung cleared things up during an interview with E! In addition to fearless anti-princess Merida’s inclusion, we’ve now learned that Mulan will be making a grand reappearance. Is Mulan meant to be with Robin Hood? I think it would be really disappointing to leave the audience with this giant question mark.
Mulan and Aurora shippers, prepare yourselves for something big. Executive producer Adam Horowitz shared on Twitter that Mulan is slated to appear in both halves of the fifth season, which would be great news for the princess’ admirers.

Check out the adventure-filled season five premiere of Once Upon a Time on Sunday, September 27 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. Chung had no problems with the plot twist and she was “glad” with how the story line went.
