One dead, four injured in two Boston shootings
According to police spokeswoman Rachel McGuire, the two additional male victims suffered non life threatening injuries and were taken to Boston Medical Center for treatment.

Police in Massachusetts are investigating five late-night fatal shootings in the Boston area.
Three people were shot at a family get-together at 40 Hosmer St in Mattapan. And the shootings at Boston happened after 10 in the night.
In another shooting, two men in their 20s were shot on Ernst Street near Bragdon Street in Roxbury.
At about 1 a.m. Thursday, authorities say 21-year-old Ashlee Berryman, of Malden, was shot and killed outside near an Everett restaurant. The victim, who’s in his 20s, hasn’t been identified.
Walsh Thursday said he was “deeply disturbed” by the wave of violence overnight in the city that also left several more people suffering form serious gunshot wounds.
In a statement Thursday morning, Boston Mayor Marty Walsh said he is “extremely saddened and disturbed by the violence that took place overnight in our community; this has to stop”. “It is my utmost priority to ensure the safety of our residents and it is important that we continue to work together with families and youth throughout our neighborhoods, to get them on alternative pathways to success”. The vehicle was driven down Main Street toward Kendall Square, where it stopped. The car’s driver is cooperating with police and officers speaking with witnesses. Boston police believe the victims in Roxbury were targeted and that the shooting was gang-related.

The victims’ names have not been released and there was no word on any arrests in any of the shootings.
