The first man pulled out a handgun and shot the other male in the shoulder a number of times before fatally shooting the mother, Prince George’s County Police Chief Hank Stawinski said.
Department spokesman Harry Bond said it was not immediately clear what triggered the shooting, how the victims were linked, or whether students were involved. Police say they are working to confirm information about what has happened.
School is not in session but there are student activities on campus.
Prince George’s County Police said via Twitter that the encounter appears to be a domestic-related shooting. This appears to be domestic violence.
