Perrie Edwards has certainly taken the high road during her split from One Direction’s Zayn Malik, and now she’s even supported his band mates at the Apply music festival.
The Southern belle, who rose to fame as the victor of the fourth season of American Idol in 2005, is the festival’s first country music headline act although she has rocked the United Kingdom many times and sold 64 million records worldwide.
Harry Styles sent his One Direction fans into meltdown by wearing a freakin’ pink polka dot shirt. Londoners really care about the venue, which is 168 years old.
Back in 2012, the blonde beauty performed in the United Kingdom for the very first time at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
Hair is of course taken from Little Mix’s forthcoming third studio album, Get Weird, but was not officially released as a single.
The band’s set included songs from their four previous albums.
After warming up Camden’s Roundhouse with some on point dance moves and outfits, the band was getting ready for a big celebration night out.
Liam Payne said: “It’s unbelievable to be here”.
“It has been an unbelievable five years – thank you so much”.
Meanwhile Harry Styles revealed he was feeling a little “distracted” on the night, as his sister Gemma had brought a date along.
He and his bandmates led the 2,000-strong crowd in singing Happy Birthday to her. The band closed their hour-long set with Best Song Ever.
One said: “Why all of a sudden this love for 1D?”
Another audience member Tom Eames from London said: “Considering it was an intimate gig they did put on a good show”.
Fashion designer Stella McCartney and Jake Roche of boy band Rixton were among celebrities who attended the gig.

Now we just have to wait for the picture everyone wants to see – all of Little Mix and One Direction in one shot. As announced in tweet by Apple’s VP of Environment Lisa Jackson, the company is giving the Roundhouse an “environmental makeover”.
