For fans who have yet to get over Malik’s departure from the band in March, let’s hope the NASA themed video helps those come to terms with the post-Zayn era. BBC explained in a report that such “training” the group underwent from would show people how some real-life astronauts prepare themselves before going to actual missions in space.
Now a quartet, One Direction went to NASA’s Johnson Space Centre in Huston, Texas to shoot their new video.
Coming back to the song, we liked how all the four from One Direction started their respective verse in their new song “Drag Me Down“.
The members wore orange NASA space suits as they entered a blue shuttle, which launched them beyond the earth’s atmosphere.
Nothing can drag One Direction down, not even gravity.
They actually blast off into space on a rocket thanks to some seamless CGI.
Styles kept it short and sweet by just posting the link to the video and Horan hoped that fans would “love it”.

One Direction have already had plenty of positive feedback in the first two hours and among the fans is 5 Seconds of Summer’s Calum Hood. Where Midnight Memories felt like the peak of high-gloss power pop, “Drag Me Down” showcases a return to live instrumentation and big, soaring hooks.
