Our worst fears were realized on Wednesday as reports came in that One Direction will no longer be reuniting after their supposed hiatus. They dreamed individually, and the five boys tried to make a solo career when they participated in the British X Factor in 2010.

According to Us Magazine, the world’s buzziest boy band is calling it quits after five insanely successful years. So when Malik left 1D, it was a sign that they should all go their separate ways.
