One Direction Perform Medley, Talk Hiatus
One Direction fans across the globe were left devastated when Zayn Malik unexpectedly exited the teen sensation quintet back in March, but Jimmy Kimmel is attempting to fill the void his departure left by adding a new member to the lineup. We are going to do something no band has ever done before, no band has ever had before.

The only thing is, this new member can’t sing or dance or do anything really because it is a potato! LOL!
Kimmel then showed off the potato that was “raised in a field among many others”. What the band didn’t realize is that not only were they going to perform on the show but Jimmy was also going to give them a new band member! We bought it at Ralph’s.
Shortly after the pic went live, 1D sat down – along with the potato of course – to chat with Kimmel about his family’s MAJOR obsession with the pop group as well as to talk about their Thanksgiving plans! Once a simple vegetable purchased for 58 cents, the new potato soon got the big star treatment, with its own chair on Kimmel, a center stage spot for the boys’ Hollywood Blvd. performance and over 500,000 likes on Instagram.

While we don’t know who his romantic songstress of choice is just yet, the 1D Potato has already declared his position in the band-drummer.
