One Direction’s hiatus to last at least two years
But in a recent interview with BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge, Tomlinson’s bandmate Liam Payne – while discussing his love for songwriting – revealed that their extended break will last for two years. We’ve always had to rush it, so it’s going to be nice for the next two years. “We had two or three months at the start of the year where we planned that was the writing time and we wouldn’t normally have that much time”, Tomlinson said.

“Every time we come back here we feel like we’re home”, he told host Ollie Murs.
While all talk recently has been about the band’s upcoming hiatus, Niall said 1D were just happy to be back on the X Factor together.
One Direction is a famous pop boyband that has been going through a few changes lately, but majority matter little to petrolheads.
With one member down, Styles says that recording the album wasn’t necessarily made more hard – Malik had left before production had begun, “so, there wasn’t anything that was scrapped”. “Down to specifics to who that song is exactly about, that’s fan’s interpretation, I suppose”.
But “Torn” is all any longtime follower is talking about at the moment, for reasons true One Direction fans understand. It was actually a really strong time for all of us, as insane as that sounds. ” ‘Love You Goodbye, ‘ I think, would be wonderful live”.
You know I’m gonna have to buy this auto if One Direction sat in it. What a brilliant marketing strategy.

With all the nostalgia thinking about when our favorite heartthrobs were just starting out on The X Factor, we can’t help but wonder: What will they be up to during their break?
