He was embroiled in a bitter Twitter battle with music producer Naughty Boy earlier this year.

The singer was involved in a Twitter feud pinning Zayn Malik and Naughty Boy against Tomlinson.
A fan-captured video shows Payne rolling on top of the piñata while laughing hysterically before Tomlinson joined in.
Liam Payne was the first who tried to destroy the pinata by sitting on it while flashing a huge smile.
While One Direction were performing in Kansas City last night, the soon to be father took a hilarious jab at Naughty Boy.
Basically, 1D fans don’t like Naughty Boy as they feel like the producer caused trouble between the band and Zayn Malik following the latter’s departure back in March.
When Naughty Boy shared an old Soundcloud recording featuring Zayn fans assumed it was a preview of Zayn’s solo work, , which prompted Louis to hit out.
He tweeted: “Remember when you were 12 and you used to think those Mac filters for your pictures were cool haha!” A few people still do HA!’ he wrote.
Naughty Boy responded to Louis saying: “and a few people can’t even sing. but who’s complaining when there’s auto tune eh”.
Louis mockingly retaliated: ‘Jesus forgot you were such an in demand producer… Naughty Boy has always been quick to defend himself in the past but has made no comment about Tomlinson’s antic as yet. “I’ve got Emeli Sande and Sam smith on my CV”. “Hope you had a good time. H”. No doubt Tomlinson will have enjoyed seeing that spat take place, especially as Malik reached out to his former band-mates at the same time.
This month though, Zayn surprised fans when he appeared to turn of his former friend and musical collaborator with a series of tweets.

He then added: “Someone learned how to upload a video… maybe now he should learn how to use logic ha you ain’t s*** but a faker”. Online, the piñata smack down’s timing seemed to have happened just weeks after Malik slammed Naughty Boy on Twitter for leaking his unfinished music video on Snapchat.
