A photo of an orphaned baby kangaroo hugging his teddy bear has won over the Internet.
Both means, it seems just like the now 15-month-old kangaroo is lastly discovering a method to cope. That’s how she met Doodlebug – and how her son, an adviser to an Australian senator, and the adorable animal were introduced. According to Beshara, Doodlebug, who’s now 15 months old, was found abandoned a little over a year ago and was too young to take care of himself.
“Doodlebug” weighed almost three half kilos when he was discovered on the aspect of a street in Grafton, New South Wales, in southeastern Australia.
In the original caption accompanying the picture, Tim mistakenly identified the creature for a Wallaby, writing: “My mum (a wildlife-carer) sent me this”. Nevertheless, we can all be joyful, as Doodlebug found how to cope with his situation – the plush animal.
The kangaroo responded to the teddy bear, “much in the same way as a toddler”, Beshara told the Daily Mail. Beshara is glad to see the comments.
Doodlebug lives alone and is an orphan. Another possibility is that Doodlebug’s mother has died. The wildlife personnel helped it recuperate and, at present, he weighs approximately 26 to 30 pounds.

He is now undergoing a “soft release” where he can hop off into bushland whenever he wants, but occasionally return to the center for food. The little kangaroo has been nursed to health to live in the wild, but still comes back “for the occasional feeding or cuddle“, he added.
