It is believed that this card was first sent in the year 1843 to the Miss Marinda Cundy of London, but the sender is yet unknown apart from the initials of J.C.J.
Report says that there is only 15 copies of this historical Christmas card that exist today of which only three are monochrome.
The postcard depicts a jolly Christmas scene if a Victorian family feasting and drinking.
