One victim dead after Swiss train attack
The victims included two men aged 17 and 50, three women aged 17, 34 and 43 and a six-year-old girl.

The police said that the attack did not appear to be directed at a single person and they added, it was unclear if the suspect knew any of the victims.
There were several dozen people on board the train at the time of the attack, which took place about 12:20 local time as the train approached the Salez station between Buchs and Sennwald.
The attacker worked part-time at an vehicle parts supplier in the region, where he had previously completed a vocational training, and he also studied at a technical university in Buchs, Blick reported.
A man set a train carriage in Switzerland on fire using a flammable liquid and stabbed passengers, injuring six people including a six-year-old child, police said.
“The accused 27-year-old Swiss man has died of his injuries”, police said in a statement Sunday.
St Gallen police confirmed today that a 34-year-old woman and the 27-year-old attacker have died from injuries. The girls, aged 6 years and 17 years is in serious condition.
According to police, there is no indication so far that the attack was an act of terrorism. Three others remain hospitalized with.
The police statement said that the results are part of a criminal proceeding and are therefore not public.
Swiss site watson.ch, claimed the suspect was “on fire” when police tackled him and suffered serious burns.
The police believe that the attacker was acting alone after viewing a video footage showing the whole process of the event.
